How to use camera of phone as a web cam

I will tell you how to set up and use your Android phone as a webcam.
                            
 Requirements:

• Android smartphone(with android 2.2 and above)
• Internet connection.
• Internet connection on your device.
• Android market.

Step 1:

  Let get started

• On your Device go to Android market and search for 'Droidcam' and Download it.
• The Droidcam will be downloaded and installed on your device.
• Now also go to the web browser(chrome/mozilla/explorer) on your PC and Download "Droidcam' for PC also.

Step 2:

                     

• Now enable the wifi on your phone and open 'droidcam' on your PC.
• Select wifi/lan on your PC.
• And open 'Droidcam' on both PC and your device.
• Now enter the IP address on both PC and Device.

To work droidcam on PC.. Restart your PC.

Step 3:    

       

            

          Now open skype and wait to detect sroidcam on skype.

Step 4:

•  Update about the usb connection.
• Download android jdk http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk-6u25-download-346242.html
• And the sdkhttp://developer.android.com/sdk/ (the zip version)
• And if u do not have the jre(java runtime enviroment) download it herehttp://java.com/getjava/index.jsp
  
  

   Jdk and Sdk are BIG files it takes much time to Download.

Step 5:Installing Android Sdk.

         

• While u install the android sdk only choose the android SDK platform tools as seen in the picture.
• wile this is installation is in process,plug your phone's USB cable into the computer and phone and install the PC suite if u haven't already. it acts like a USB driver.

Step 6:

                   

• Now go to command prompt and get root access C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\adb that is the path u should enter in command prompt.
• On your phone you have to enable usb debugging mine is Settings>applications>application development>usb debugging.
• In command prompt u need to get a whole list of stuff,at first type in adb usb.
• This resets the usb connection between your pc and phone. (please note: Do not mount the USB connection on your phone)
• Next type in: adb devices,if your phone is not listed something is wrong!!
• Now type: adb forward tcp:4747 tcp:4747 (the 4747 is the default port between your PC and mobile check that the port on the PC and mobile is the same otherwise this wont work...)

Step 7: Finish

• Now open 'droidcam' on your PC and mobile, on your PC select ADB (via usb) and click connect.
