Adding Gadgets and custom gadgets to your website and Blogger

If you own a website, you can improve it by adding interactive components. You might offer games. You might offer forums where people can sign in and take part in your online community.Widgets, also known as gadgets, are small tools or applications that can be added to a website or blog to enhance its content or functions, or to pull content and services from third-party websites.
                                                             

1. Login to your Blogger:Give your username and password to login your account.once you enter your will directed to dashboard.

2.Click layout:Click layout option that appears on left side of your dashboard.Then click 'Add Gadget'.

3.Choose your gadget:Gadgets are known as widgets.Choose the available gadgets offered by Google Blogger.If you like to choose the Gadgets of your Own,Click the HTML and JavaScript widget offered by Blogger.

                       

4.HTML and JavaScript is the Widget that offers to add custom widget.It offers to paste the HTML of the widget you would like to add.Just copy the HTML and Attest a title for the widget and click save to allow the Gadget in your blog.Allot the position for the Gadget in the Layout you wish to add.

                                  

Adjust the size of widget and save the widget.Then click save arrangement in the top right corner of Blogger.

That's it the widget have been added to your site.Now check your site to see the changes.

Precautions:

• When adding Blogger widgets or customized widgets to your blog's sidebar, take note of the pixel width size to make sure it fits and is visible within your sidebar. If you are using a Blogger template, you can adjust the sidebar width using the Template Designer on the Design tab to accommodate your widget.
• Each time you use the "Add a Gadget" feature in Blogger, your new widget will always appear at the top of your layout above all your other widgets. You will be required to drag and drop your new widget to its desired location.
• When adding a widget using the "Add a Gadget" tool within Blogger, you have the option to enter the URL for a gadget you want to add from outside of Blogger. Click on the link that says "Add Your Own" and type in the name of the website you want to add.
